Hooske Thompson (No Sowooty) Student File

Student file of Hooske Thompson, a member of the Navajo Nation, who entered the school on February 16, 1909 and departed on June 26, 1912. The file contains a student information card, medical/physical records, an application for enrollment, a financial transaction, letters/correspondence, outing evaluations, a returned student survey, an outing record, and a progress/conduct card. The file indicates that Thompson was living in Fort Defiance, Arizona in 1912.

In school documentation Hooske Thompson's name is also spelled Haske Thompson, Hooskie Thompson, and Hoske Thompson. He is also known as No Sowooty, also spelled Hooske-no-so-wooty, Hoska-no-so-woot, Hooske Nosawoot, Hoosky No So Woot, Hoske No Sowooty, Hooske nal woot, Hooske No-so-wooty.
