Grace Red Eagle (Win-us-ka) Student File

Student file of Grace Red Eagle, a member of the Quapaw Nation, who entered the school on May 30, 1885, graduated in 1897, and departed on July 6, 1897. The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Red Eagle was housekeeping in Baxter Springs, Kansas in 1907 and 1910 and housekeeping in Quapaw, Oklahoma in 1915.

In school documentation Grace Red Eagle's name is also spelled Grace Redeagle. She is also known as Win-us-ka. She has three married names: Grace Red Eage Sacto (Mrs. Sacto), Grace R. E. Sacto Cooper (Mrs. Joseph Cooper), and Grace Walker (Mrs. John B. Walker). Based on a note in her student file those names are in chronological order.
