The file contains student information cards, correspondence, financial transactions, outing records, a federal financial aid form, outing evaluations, progress/conduct cards, and an application for enrollment. The file indicates Francis worked for the American Iron and Steel Manufacturing Co. in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, was living in Detroit, Michigan in 1917, and was a member of the 16th Regiment Engineers Co. C in the American Expeditionary Force in 1918.
