Evelyn Schingler Student File

Student file of Evelyn Schingler, member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on September 26, 1913 and ultimately graduated in 1917, departing on June 8, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file includes student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing record, correspondence, a certificate of promotion, financial transactions, a vacation request form, a federal financial aid form, and a certificate of promotion. The file indicates that Schingler's trade was home economics and that she was planning to work with her aunt as a nurse for two children in Buffalo, New York in June 1916.

In school documentation Evelyn Schingler's name is also spelled Evelyn Schindler. She is also known as Evelyn Shingle.
