Charles Packineau Student File

Student file of Charles Packineau, a member of the Hidatsa Nation, who entered the school on November 11, 1906, and departed on April 26, 1911. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, correspondence about her sister's health, a trade/position record card, an outing evaluation, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, a report after leaving, medical/physical records, a former student response postcard, and returned student surveys that indicate Hall was living in Edwoods, North Dakota in 1911.

In school documentation Charles Packineau's name is also spelled Charles Packimeau, Charles Packmeau, and Charlie Packineau. He is also known as Lifts his Arm.

Note: Although this file shows Gros Ventre, a member of the Fort Berthold community has indicated that this individual is actually Hidatsa.
