Baldwin Blue Horse (Takes his own) Student File

Student file of Baldwin Blue Horse, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and ultimately departed on July 6, 1885. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and re-entered. The file contains student information cards and a report after leaving indicating that Blue Horse was working as a laborer in Pine Ridge, South Dakota in 1910.

In school documentation Baldwin Blue Horse is also known as Takes his Own and Ikiken.

Note: Blue Horse was probably the father of student Joseph Blue Horse.
