It also reported a Department of Interior inspection, along with news of students and visitors. Page three was filled with short news items that included picnic and camping news, outing news, summer activities including ball games, building improvements and visitors. The fourth page gave an account of “The Picnic,” to Pine Grove Park with a visit to the furnace, along with bowling, tennis and crokinole games.
