Eliza Nauwegesic Student File

Student file of Eliza Nauwegesic, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 7, 1899 and departed on February 12, 1902. The file contains student information cards, correspondence, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Nauwegesic was a waitress and working as a housekeeper in Mackinac Island, Michigan in 1907, running a boarding house and waiting tables in Mackinaw City, Michigan and Mackinac Island, Michigan in 1910, and was living in Chicago, Illinois in 1911.

In school documentation Eliza Nauwegesic's name is also spelled Eliza Nauwagesic.
