Bessie C. Eastman Student File

Student file of Besse C. Eastman, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 1, 1913 and departed on January 12, 1916. The file contains a student information card, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, an outing record, financial transactions, a financial aid form, and correspondence. The file indicates that Eastman attended Camp Oahe or the Eastman Family Camp for Girls with Angel DeCora Dietz in Munsonville, New Hampshire, arrived in Winona, Minnesota in 1916 upon leaving school, and was living in Sisseton, South Dakota in 1917.

In school documentation Bessie C. Eastman is also known as Bessie Eastman. Her married name is Bessie Jones (Mrs. Henry C. Jones).
