Letter to Pratt about Boarding School Positions

Date
December 5, 1879

Commissioner of Indian Affairs writing to Captain Richard Henry Pratt about the application of Edward Bloedon of Saginaw, Michigan for appointment as steward at the Carlisle Indian School. Hayt told Bloedon that he should send his application directly to Pratt. Hayt also mentioned needing a married couple to run a boarding school at the Colorado River Agency in Arizona and wondered if Bloedon might be suitable for that position.
