Christina Cook (Kerisite) Student File

Student file of Christina Cook, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on August 10, 1901, and departed on August 17, 1906. The file contains a student information card, a position record card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating Cook was a housewife living in New York, New York in 1911. 

In school documentation Christina Cook is also known as Christine Cook and Kerisite. Her married name is Christina Cook Beauvais or Christine Cook Beauvais.

Note: Although her trade card says Cook was married to a former Carlisle student, there are no records of a male student named Beauvais. Cook also notes in her returned student survey that she is married to a Canadian Indian.
