John Hearty Student File

Student file of John Hearty, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 5, 1905 departed on September 7, 1910. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, an outing record, a returned student survey, a former student survey postcard, correspondence from the Pipestone, Minnesota Indian School regarding his enrollment at that institution, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Hearty was working as a farmer in Red Cliff, Wisconsin in 1911 and a laborer in Red Cliff, Wisconsin in 1913.
