Stephen Youngdeer Student File

Student file of Stephen Youngdeer, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on July 6, 1903 and ultimately departed on June 4, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, trade/position record cards, a financial transaction, correspondence, an outing evaluation, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving indicating that Youngdeer was living in Bee Tree, North Carolina in 1914 and was serving in the United States Army stationed at Camp Sevier, South Carolina in 1918.

In school documentation Stephen Youngdeer's name is also spelled Steven Youngdeer, Stephen Young Deer, Steve Youngdeer, and Steven Y. Deer.
