The file indicates Seneca attended the Medico Chirurgical Hospital training school for nurses in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1897 on the outing program and graduated in 1900, was a nurse in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1907, a nurse in Chilocco, Oklahoma in 1909, and a nurse in Pawnee, Oklahoma in 1914.

In school documentation Nancy Seneca's name is also spelled Nancy Senica. She is also known as Nancy R. Seneca.
