Mary Tyndall Student File

Student file of Mary Tyndall, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on August 19, 1882 and departed on January 3, 1884. The file contains a student information card, a news clipping from 1910 describing her visit to the school, a report after leaving, and returned student survey. The file indicates Tyndall was married to Orin Mitchell, and working as an interpreter for the Omaha Agency in Macy, Nebraska in 1911.

In school documentation Mary Tyndall's married name is Mary Tyndall Mitchell (Mrs. Orin Mitchell).
