Luzena Choteau Student File

Student file of Luzena Choteau, a member of the Wyandotte Nation, who entered the school on August 19, 1890, graduated in 1892, and departed on June 19, 1893. The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, letters/correspondence, a news clipping, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates Choteau attended the Indiana Normal School in Valparaiso, Indiana in 1895, the Bryant and Stratton Business College in Chicago, Illinois, and Mr. Tanner's School for Civil Service Examination in Washington, D. C.; was a typewriter for the Loan and Currency division of the Treasury Department in Washington D. C.; a housewife in Chafey, Nevada in 1909; and living in San Francisco, California in 1911.

In school documentation Luzena Choteau is also known as Lizzie Choteau. Her married name is Luzena Choteau Roscamp or Luzena Roscamp (Mrs. Stanley Roscamp).
