Student file of Lucy Cloud, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 7, 1889 and ultimately departed on December 16, 1895. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, correspondence, financial transactions, and a report after leaving indicating Cloud was working as a dressmaker as well as a housewife in Bay City, Michigan in 1913.
In school documentation Lucy Cloud's married name is Lucy Cloud Johnston or Lucy C. Johnston (Mrs. James W. Johnston).
Note: Lucy Cloud was the mother of students Ira Cloud and Wallace Johnston.
