Student file of Louis Caswell, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 15, 1889 and departed on July 1, 1893. The file contains a student information card, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, letters/correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that Caswell was working as a blacksmith in Minnesota from 1910 to 1914.
In school documentation Louis Caswell is also known as Louis R. Caswell (also spelled Lewis R. Caswell).
Note: Caswell was the father of students Benjamin F. Caswell, Eva Caswell and Louisa/Charlotte Caswell.
