Student file of Laban Baird, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on June 29, 1900, and departed on July 3, 1902. The file contains a student information card, a news clipping, returned student surveys, a report after leaving, and former student response postcards that indicate Baird was a farmer in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1913. After leaving Carlisle, Baird attended the Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute in Hampton, Virginia from February 1904 to June 1907.
Note: Students Charles Baird and Laban Baird were brothers.
