James Holstein Student File

Student file of James Holstein, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 8, 1911 and ultimately graduated in 1918, departing on June 8, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, physical records, an outing record, correspondence, financial transactions, an outing evaluation, a certificate of transfer, a certificate of promotion, a federal financial aid form, a list of the members of the Class of 1918, and Holstein's biographical essay from his senior year. The files indicate that after graduating, Holstein worked at a shipyard in Hog Island, Pennsylvania. 

In school documentation James Holstein's name is also spelled James Holstien. He is also known as Jimmie Holstein.
