Student file of Irene Bear's Ghost, a member of the Mandan Nation, who entered school on November 3, 1901 and departed on June 27, 1906. The file contains student information cards and a report after leaving indicating that she was married and living in Elbowoods, North Dakota in 1910.
Note: One document in this file shows that she was married to Oliver Duckett, but that is an error. She was actually married to Reuben Duckett. A marriage announcement appears on September 27, 1907 in "The Arrow."
In school documentation Irene Bear's Ghost's name is also spelled Irene Bearsghost and Irene Bears Ghost. Her married name is Irene Duckett (Mrs. Reuben Duckett).
