Hester C. Harris Student File

Student file of Hester C. Harris, a member of the Catawba Nation, who entered the school on November 25, 1906 and departed on June 21, 1907. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a report after leaving, and a returned student survey indicating that Harris married Johnnie P. George and was a housewife in Van Wyck, South Carolina in 1911.

In school documentation Hester C. Harris is also known as Hester Harris and Hester Catherine Harris. Her married name is Hester George (Mrs. John P. George or Mrs. Johnnie P. George).

Note: A note on Harris' student card indicates that she married Fred Nelson Blue so she may have had a second married name: Hester Blue (Mrs. Fred Nelson Blue).
