Student file of Eli Beardsley, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on August 21, 1899 and ultimately departed on September 7, 1905. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a news clipping, a returned student survey, a report after leaving, and correspondence about his life after Carlisle.
The file indicates Beardsley was a student at the Hampton Normal Institute in Hampton, Virginia in 1907-10, was working at a boarding house in Chautauqua, New York in 1910, worked in the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway shops, and lived in Standing Rock, North Dakota where he worked as an engineer in 1911.
In school documentation Eli Beardsley's name is also spelled Eli Beardely.
