Edgar Rickard Student File

Student file of Edgar Rickard, a member of the Tuscarora Nation, who entered the school on March 19, 1895 and ultimately graduated in 1901, and departed on March 19, 1901. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, returned student surveys, a news clipping, a photograph, a report after leaving, and letters/correspondence.

The file indicates that Rickard worked in the printing office in Mount Vernon, Kentucky after graduating, was a farmer in Lewiston, New York from 1907 to 1911, was elected to the position of secretary in the Tuscarora Nation in 1912, and was sent to Washington D. C. by the Tuscarora Nation to settle a deal in 1912 while living in Lewiston, New York. Rickard was married to fellow student Lulu Coates. 

In school documentation Edgar Rickard is also known as Edgar H. Rickard and E. H. Rickard.
