Proposals for New Construction of a New School Building
July 5-21, 1888

A. B. Upshaw, Acting Commissioner of the Office of Indian Affairs, forwards a copy of the proposal of Andrew Wetzel as well as Samuel Wetzel for the construction of a new building at the Carlisle Indian School. The Acting Secretary of the Interior H. L. Muldrew approves the contract if there are no objections.

Allen Forwards Tinware Supplier Proposal to Commissioner of Indian Affairs
April 16, 1904

Edgar A. Allen forwards the proposals of the Carlisle Indian School to furnish tinware to the Office of Indian Affairs. Allen notes that the tinware produced by the school is superior to manufactured goods as it is handmade and that he has also sent samples to the office.
