Page two reported contents of letters from student Josephine Bordeaux (Sioux), who had returned home and Jennie Mitchell (Omaha) and Frank Everett (Wichita) who wrote from Outing placements. The page also included news of former teachers and posted the teacher assignments for the coming school year.
Page three encouraged clean reports of "No Indian" among the students, meaning that they were not speaking their native languages. Also included were numerous short news stories. The small boys' quarters were still under construction. There were still problems with printing equipment. Preparation was underway for the upcoming Indian Exhibit in Philadelphia. Students were returning from farms to start school again, and several of the new Apache girls made some good cakes in cooking class. The fourth page included proclamations against tobacco.
