The Indian Helper (Vol. 3, No. 13)

The first page opened with the poem, "Do Thy Little; Do it Well," followed by a story by Aunt Martha called "Pawnee Medicine and an Indian Lodge," about Pawnee dances and medicine men.  The second page featured news about the steam printer, the return of Miss Ely, an open air concert by the band, the Indian Union Debating Club, and a report of an inspiring talk by Capt. Pratt.  Articles on the third page featured news about visitors to the school, encouragement for developing good reading habits, a warning against dirty thoughts; examples of spelling corrections to home letters; and a report on Carlos Montezuma's speech to the American Missionary Association. The fourth page continued Aunt Martha's talk.
