Student file of John Walletsie, a member of the Umatilla Nation, who entered the school on November 15, 1900 and departed on July 1, 1902. The file contains a student information card, newspaper clipping with a photograph, a returned student survey, and correspondence. The files indicate that Walletsie studied blacksmithing, was a member of the track team, and that in 1911 he was a laborer working in Pendleton, Oregon.
In school documentation John Walletsie's name is also spelled John Wallasti and John Wa-Lat-Zi.
