The file contains student information cards, trade/position record cards, a physical record, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, an application for enrollment, and correspondence related to an application for a land allotment. Bergie's correspondence also indicates that he was living in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1915.
In school documentation Joseph Bergie's name is also spelled Joseph Bergia. He is also known as Joe Bergie and Joseph Bonzie.
Note: Although Bergie is identified as Chippewa in his school records, he and his parents were identified as Sioux in his application.
