A letter from Richard Henry Pratt forwarding a request for the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to pay for William F. Campbell's fees for the University of Minnesota Law School. Pratt forwards both a letter from the Dean of the Law School William S. Pattee and an incomplete contract between the Commissioner and Pattee which outlines the terms of the $167 a year requested.
In his letter, Pattee explains that Campbell has not been charged yet for his schooling, but if the Commissioner does send the money, the $167 would go towards tuition and board. Pratt expresses his belief that Campbell will earn enough on his own to cover the rest.
