Richard Henry Pratt provides additional justification for his request to purchase additional tents for the summer vacation camp. Pratt notes that he sends students to the camp who are often just arrived and have yet acquired the education to be sent on outing. He further documents camp life including establishing the camp, growing a garden, picking berries, and making bows and arrows to sell for pocket money.
