Date
August 10, 1891

Richard Henry Pratt responds to an Office of Indian Affairs letter regarding filling a teaching position in the Indian Service. Pratt notes that at the moment he is having difficulty filling a teaching position at Carlisle and so he cannot recommend a name for a position at Fort Totten. Pratt does say that Alice Seabrook has expressed a desire to go West but only at an increase in salary and highly recommends her for such a position.
