Robin L. Hamilton has been appointed as the new business teacher, but he had declined. In discussing other people to fill the position, someone from Carlisle (likely the Superintendent) states that he does not want to appoint Cloe E. Schutt to fill the position because he is looking for a man with more experience. Commissioner of Indian Affairs R. G. Valentine requests that the Civil Service Commission hold an exam for male applicants to be the business teacher for $1,000 per year.
