Pliga Nash Student File

Student file of Pliga Nash, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on August 22, 1896, graduated in 1902, and departed on February 11, 1902. The file contains a student information card, a photograph, returned student surveys, former student response postcards, a news clipping, a letter/correspondence, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Nash was a student in the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas business course from 1906 and graduated from there in 1908, successfully passed the civil service exam for clerk and stenographer and typewriter in 1908, and was living in Crow Agency, Montana in 1915.

In school documentation Pliga Nash's name is also spelled Pelagie Nash and Pelagia Nash. Her married name is Pliga Loukes (Mrs. H. M. Loukes).
