Student file of John B. Ortego, a member of the Copah Nation, who entered the school September 4, 1895 and ultimately departed June 24, 1905. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, correspondence, trade/position record cards, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Ortego enlisted in the army after leaving school and was employed as a farmer in Pala, California in 1911 and 1913.
