Ida Swallow Student File

Student file of Ida Swallow, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on August 28, 1895, graduated in 1901, and departed on June 30, 1902. The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, a former student response postcard, a news clipping, correspondence, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates that Swallow graduated from the Drexel Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1902, was an assistant clerk at the Carlisle Indian School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania from 1902 to 1905, was a bookkeeper, clerk and store manager in Oelrichs, South Dakota in 1907, and living in Harviell, Missouri in 1915.

In school documentation Ida Swallow's married name Ida Swallow Merdanian.
