Gertrude Sherman Student File

Student file of Gertrude Sherman, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on September 12, 1894, and departed on September 20, 1899. The file contains a student information card, and a report after leaving indicating she was married to Homer Walker and living in Walthill, Nebraska, in 910.

In school documentation Gertrude Sherman is also known as Nah-ga-a-ga, also spelled Na-za-a-za. Her married name is Gertrude Walker (Mrs. Homer Walker).
