Student file of George S. Watchman (Saahtlie), a member of the Navajo Nation, who entered the school on October 21, 1882 and departed on July 8, 1889. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving indicating that in 1910 Watchman was raising sheep in Fort Defiance, Arizona.
In school documentation George S. Watchman is also known as Saahtlie and George Watchman.
Note: Although his name is spelled "Saahtile" on the back of his information card, that appears to be a typo, since the name appears in numerous other publications and documents as "Saahtlie."
