Student information card of George Nyruah (Sun), a member of the Apache Nation, who entered the school on February 2, 1884 and departed on July 8, 1889.
In school documentation George Nyruah is also known as Sun and Grasshopper.
Note: The April 22, 1887 issue of The Indian Helper announced that: "Grasshopper is Grasshopper no longer. He is name is George Nyruah." There are photographs with a student identified as Grasshopper who is Apache, and who would have been at the school at the same time as George Nyruah. Therefore, we believe these are the same person.
