Dickie Jack Student File

Student file of Dickie Jack, a member of the Washoe Nation, who entered the school on July 20, 1898, and departed on June 14, 1900. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, a returned student survey, and a former student response postcard that indicates Jack was working as a lumber grader in Loyalton, California in 1914. After leaving Carlisle, Jack attended Stewart Indian School and Carson High School in Carson, Nevada.

In school documentation Dickie Jack's name is also spelled Dickey Jack. He is also known as Richard Jack, Richard Barington (also spelled Richard Barrington), Richard E. Barrington, and R. E. Barington.
