Carrie Deroin Student File

Student file of Carrie Deroin, a member of the Sac and Fox Nation, who entered the school on November 14, 1883 and ultimately departed on January 5, 1891. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a news clipping, student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Derion attended the Haskell Institute in 1890 and was a seamstress in Reserve, Kansas in 1911.

In school documentation Carrie Deroin's name is also spelled Carrie De Roine and Carrie Deroine. Her married name is Carrie Deroin Vieux (Mrs. P. M. Vieux).
