The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Dowdy was working in a lumber yard in Tunesassa, New York in 1911.

The Cumberland County Historical Society identifies the sitters as: Standing, back row: George Quinn, Alpheus Powlas, Phineas Wheelock, George Clark, and Harry Marshall; sitting, front row: Asa Wall, Thomas Griffin, Ray Funk, Joe Libby, Healy Wolfe, and Levi Willis. 

These materials include a descriptive statement of pupils for 19 individuals sent to the Carlisle Indian School from the Oneida Agency in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
