Harriet Jamison Student File

Student file of Harriet Jamison, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on August 31, 1897 and ultimately departed on January 23, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a medical/physical record, former student response postcards, a trade/position record card, a report after leaving, and correspondence.

The file indicates Jamison went to the Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1906 on the outing program, graduated from the Warren Emergency Hospital Training School for Nurses in Warren, Pennsylvania in 1909, was a nurse in Warren, Pennsylvania in 1910, and was a nurse at the Jones General Hospital in Jamestown, New York in 1913 and 1915.

In school documentation Harriet Jamison is also known as Harriet A. Jamison and Hattie Jamison (also spelled Hattie Jimerson).
