Peter Loran Student Information Cards

Student information cards of Peter Loran (here spelled "Loren" and "Loraine"), a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on August 26, 1897 and ultimately departed on October 2, 1906. The file indicates Loren was living in Hogansburg, New York in 1913.

Note: This card shows that Peter departed in 1902, but his file shows that he reenrolled himself briefly in 1906 in hopes of being able to play football for Carlisle. His hopes unrealized, he left after just a few days.

Note: Although his name was often spelled Loren or Loraine among documents and newspapers at the school, a relative has indicated that the correct spelling of the name is Loran.
