Student information card of Eustace Esapoyhet, a member of the Comanche Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1880 and departed on October 22, 1892. The information card indicates that Esapoyhet had taken a position in Santa Fe, New Mexico upon departing from Carlisle.
In school documentation Eustace Esapoyhet's name is also spelled Eustace Esapoyet. He is also known as Eustace.
Note: Although this card shows a date of entry in 1888, other records indicate that Eustace first entered Carlisle in 1880, and that he was discharged on July 11, 1888 and then reentered on September 24, 1888.
There is some question regarding the date of departure of 1892. A researcher has a letter dated August 13, 1891 with Eustace writing from Fort Totten, ND to one of the Carlisle teachers, Anna Luckenbach, and Pratt had recommended Eustace for a position at Fort Totten in a letter from June 1891.
