Sallie Graybeard Student File

Student file of Sallie Graybeard, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on October 22, 1914, graduated in 1917, and departed on August 14, 1918. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a federal financial aid form, physical records, outing evaluations, correspondence, financial transactions, certificates of promotion, progress/conduct card from a high school, and an outing record. After leaving Carlisle, Greybeard planned to train in nursing at the Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

In school documentation Sallie Graybeard's name is also spelled Sallie Greybeard and Sally Greybeard. She is also known as Sallie E. Graybeard (also spelled Sallie E. Greybeard).
