Reuben Charles Student File

Student file of Reuben Charles, a member of the Tonawanda Seneca Nation, who entered the school on October 13, 1900 and ultimately departed on May 9, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, a report after leaving, a former student response postcard, correspondence, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, and a returned student survey. The files indicate that in 1913 Sundown was a bookkeeper living in Cleveland, Ohio.

In school documentation Reuben Charles' name is also spelled Ruben Charles. He is also known as Reuben E. Charles, Reuben Sundown, and Gwee-yeh-is.
