Student file of Montreville Yuda, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 10, 1908 and departed on May 19, 1913. The file contains a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, a student information card, returned student surveys, an application for enrollment, trade/position record cards, a medical/physical record, and correspondence.
The file indicates that Yuda worked for three years as a printer at the school and played the flute. He continued to live in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in through 1917, and worked for a time at the E. C. Beetem Carpet Factory. In 1917 Yuda also worked with the New York Shipbuilding Company in Camden, New Jersey. He was an instructor with the Emergency Fleet Corporation at Newport News in 1918, and was then working with in the shipbuilding yards at Hogs Island, Pennsylvania where he helped oversee outing students working in the yards.
In school documentation Montreville Yuda's name is also spelled Montriville Yuda, Montrulle Yuda, Montruille Yuda, and Montreville Yudda.
