Marcos Carbajal Student File

Student file of Marcos L. Carbajal, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on September 8, 1911 and departed on May 5, 1914. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, an outing evaluation, an outing record, postcards with pictures of places in Philadelphia and the Statue of Liberty, a news clipping, a financial transaction, a trade/position record card, correspondence, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates Carbajal was working as a disciplinarian at the Mescalero Indian School in Mescalero, New Mexico in 1914, attending Phoenix high school in 1915, served on the U.S.S. Saratoga in San Francisco, California in 1917, and the U.S.S. Rochester in New York City, New York in 1918.

In school documentation Marcos Carbajal's name is also spelled Marcos Barbajol, Marcos Carabojal, Marcus Carbajal, Marcus Carabajal, and Marcos L. Carabajal.
