Louis Twin Student File

Student file of Louis Twin, a member of the Winnebago Nation, who entered the school on July 2, 1905 and departed on November 2, 1910. The file contains medical/physical records, a student information card, correspondence, trade/position record cards, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, a report after leaving, a newspaper clipping, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, and testimony from Twin and several others regarding an incident in Carlisle. The file indicates Twin was on the Nebraska Indians baseball team in 1910 and a farmer in Lockport, Illinois in 1911 as well as a professional baseball player in Winnebago, Nebraska in 1911.

In school documentation Louis Twin's name is also spelled Lewis Twin and Louis Twinn. He is also known as Louis Harry Twin and Louis H. Twin.
